COA Solutions shortlisted for financial software award
3rd April 2008 - COA Solutions' OpenAccounts system has been shortlisted in the financial software category of the 2008 Real FD/CBI Excellence awards. Voted for by financial directors (FDs), OpenAccounts is one of eight financial software products shortlisted and the winner will be announced at an awards ceremony on 15 April 2008.
Real FD, a leading website for senior UK finance executives, invited FDs to score their current financial software package in a number of areas. These ranged from rating the quality of the software's implementation and the level of customer care through to the on-going support provided and whether they would recommend their financial system to other FDs.
OpenAccounts, which has won multiple awards in the past, is a fully integrated suite of financial accounting modules that strengthens financial management processes and provides integrated e-procurement, improving productivity and increasing efficiency in the finance department. It also incorporates HR and payroll analytics. The software has been developed to include collaborative modules for budgeting and planning and cash flow forecasting. Reporting tools, including a ‘board pack', are also incorporated so users can extract information from multiple data sources easily, producing reports that illustrate business performance against key operational targets.
Mark Thompson, managing director of COA Solutions, says, "OpenAccounts provides organisations with a solid platform for all their accounting and financial management needs and is one of the most user-friendly and efficient financial management systems on the market. We are delighted that FDs have acknowledged this by shortlisting our OpenAccounts system for this prestigious award."
Thompson adds, "We are constantly striving to improve our product and service offering and pride ourselves on working closely with our customers so that we can fully understand their changing technology requirements and quickly respond to their needs."
