Judged by The Company You Keep?
My mother is full of age-old wisdom and sayings. One that was often heard through-out my teenage years was ” You will be judged by the company you keep”, mainly used to discourage me from falling into the wrong crowd and to get me to concentrate on where I wanted to be in the future. Despite my “live-and -let- live” outlook on life, I have begun to think she might be right and the same principle also applies when it comes to the reputation of companies.
It comes as somewhat of a relief then, that COA Solutions has recently been listed amongst the top 10 UK and 20 global software providers, ranking alongside Oracle, SAP and Microsoft in both the Gartner Marketscope report and the Techmarket View Summary for 2009/10.
For the Gartner report the opinions of the analyst are formed in conjunction with feedback from active customers ensuring that the ratings given take account of the delivery of the services offered by a vendor rather than just the breadth of the product range they provide. The Gartner report concluded “… Public sector organisations in the UK and mid-sized companies based in English speaking geographies should evaluate COA Solutions”.
In Techmarket they surmise “The company continues to grow both organically and through acquisition and with EBITDA margins of around 22% it is looking pretty sound. In its current form it has a balanced split between public and private sector revenues”.
