09:35	Configuration, Architecture and Security This provides an overview of the IBM Cognos 8 Architecture and Security capabilities and shows how to configure IBM Cognos 8 to run in your environment for the first time.
09:55	Metadata and Data Modelling This looks at how to build the Metadata foundation for IBM Cognos 8 to enable reporting and analysis from a variety of data sources including Transactional and Multidimensional.

10:40	Ad Hoc Query Users have different requirements when it comes to accessing and using information. This session looks at how a Business User can produce ad-hoc reports easily.
10:50	Analysis IBM Cognos 8 enables the guided exploration and analysis of information that pertains to all dimensions of your business - regardless of where the data is stored. This session shows how analytical users can interrogate dimensional data sources.
11:10	Express Authoring This session demonstrates how IBM Cognos 8 Express Authoring offers a streamlined interface providing financial/business analysts with a quick and easy mechanism to create formatted reports to support financial and business processes. These reports can then be made available through the IBM Cognos 8 Portal for scheduling and alerting

11:40	Sophisticated Report Authoring This session explores how to create complex, multi-page layouts and dashboards using a variety of different data sources, highlighting how IBM Cognos 8 uses drag-and-drop authoring to incorporate data, text, charts, graphs, and images whilst maintaining flexibility. It will also demonstrate how to create interactive prompted reports for end user consumption.
12:20	Additional Access Modes This session shows how you can extend the value of your IBM Cognos 8 deployment by providing users with alternative access through Search, Office and Mobile capabilities without having to redevelop content.

Use IBM Cognos 8 to analyse financial and non-financial information and see how IBM Cognos Planning is used to engage the business in the planning process.
